This game displayed all that is good with underage soccer in
Athlone. Temple Villa ended the game the stronger and still finished the
wrong side of a four nil score line. Temple Villas keeper, Shane Lawless,
started the game well and pulled off a save after Shane Cleary set up Adam
Milton for a clear one on one chance which the keeper snuffled out....

All else was overshadowed today
with the very sad news that Breffni Rowan passed away in the early hours of
this morning.
That news will sadden all
football people. Bref has a proud record as a player, coach and administrator
and was a founding member of the ADSL and a long serving...
We are saddened to learn of the death of Breffni Rowan, one of the founder members of the ADSL. Breffni was a true legend of his time and will be sadly missed but never forgotten.May He Rest in Peace.

up we bade our farewells to our Accommodation in Cardiff University. Our

We were down for breakfast
for 8.00am to be on the bus for 8.45 to be at the venue in good time. We again
had a rendition of the new WSC anthem with Terry on lead vocals and Seamus as
the band with 27 on backing vocals! Otherwise Seamusâs choice of music on the
short trip...
